New Meet The Creators post, this time I was honoured to ask the questions to serial videographer and Youtuber OnlyJustLucy. I first got introduced to Lucy on a compilation video she made for Gary Vaynerchuk and then again with a Belfast edit showing off her version of the city. I love seeing how different people view the same things and especially in somewhere as small as Belfast.
First up Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year, I hope everyone had a great festive period. After quite a long break (few personal issues) I’m back and ready to knuckle down and start off 2018 with the hustle. Before that I want to reflect on 2017 as the most creative year for me. Continue reading
I haven’t been highly active in posting new content but after a few weeks break I’m back and more hungry than ever to create interesting and enjoyable content. Whether that be Instagram photos and starting to utilise the Story feature to Youtube videos and even writing on this very blog. I had made plans to go shoot a vlog today but the Belfast weather wasn’t playing ball so I decided to do a Gear video.
Second vlog posted on YouTube and it’s more a lesson in filming in public with brief background on why I decided to get serious about creating content Continue reading
SOOOOOO………… I’ve been kind of slacking on the blog front from shooting more photos than I used to and the humdrum of daily 9-5 working and throw in a few Christenings, Weddings and other occassions, there is only a finite amount of time during the day. And the blog has suffered.
This will change. Continue reading
Set in the stunning St Anne’s Cathedral the Power of Video conference returned for it’s second year and with it came a buzz of Youtubers, Filmmakers and Social Media giants. It’s a conference aimed at creators and how to use video to increase brand awareness and your following, with massive Youtubers like Shonduras and Viacom’s Thomas De Napoli speaking it highlights the blurring lines between social media and mainstream content creation and how to utilise both to the benefit of both too. Coming from such a diverse and culturally interesting place as Belfast has lead to an increasing arts, music and creative scene along with supportive venues such as Black Box, Belfast Exposed, QFT and Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival. Belfast is affirming itself as a globally recognised hot spot of creativity. Continue reading
Starting a new blog post series of Weekly Photo Posts to help deconstruct my photos of the week from the reasons I wanted to take the photo to techniques that I learnt and why I like the photos enough to post them. Continue reading
Every September Belfast holds it’s annual Culture Night and after a few years break, I took the trip down to make a Youtube video. Unfortunately there was too much background noise when talking to the camera so it’s just a quick clip video showing all the sights and sounds to be had at Culture Night.
The blog post today is a little light on the word front but heavy with photographs. As the weather has been nice we decided to head up to Belfast Zoo for a day trip so that took up the majority of the day and honestly I’m too tired from walking and a little sore. Here’s some of my favourite pictures from the day.
Also is you live in Northern Ireland, Belfast Zoo is definitely one of the best things to do as a family, must see attraction.
Hopefully you enjoyed this slightly different post today, who doesn’t love cute animals
